This year marks a special celebration of 100 years of Plumpton College and our 50th anniversary of Open Day & Spring Fair.

Organised by Plumpton College, the event will take place across our 800 hectare campus nestled in the South Downs National Park with; department demonstrations, attractions, local food and wine tasting, as well as a craft and trade fair, course and careers advice, children's activities, farm displays and much more.

We typically welcome over ten thousand visitors every year, so we look forward to seeing you there!

What time does the event start and finish?

Gates open at 10am on Saturday 9 May and close for last admittance at 4pm. The event finishes at 5pm.

This year we welcome those, already admitted, who wish to stay and celebrate our centenary with us on Principal's Lawn with continued music, performances and food until 8pm.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are allowed but must be kept on leads and away from animals and birds.

Is the site accessible?

Our campus is accessible for wheelchairs, but it is large and could be difficult for those with mobility problems. We will have tractor and trailer tours, free for visitors to hop on and off at designated stops.

I'm a Plumpton College student, do I have to pay for a ticket?

Current and prospective students are warmly welcome to attend the Open Day & Spring Fair. You will need to secure a free ticket.

Please have your Student ID number when checking out your order. This can be found on your offer letter, or lanyard.

Do I need to pay for parking?

There will be plenty of free parking available onsite with designated bays for Blue Badge/ Priority Parking.

Can I pay at the gate?

Yes, we take cash and card payments. Pre-booking your ticket is advised.

Refunds

Refunds are not permitted, unless the event is cancelled due to external factors.

Photography and videography will be taken on the day of the event for promotional purposes. Please alert a member of staff if you do not want to be featured in these.
