Bring your family, friends, kids and dogs for a fantastic day out on Saturday 9 May 2026!
This year marks a special celebration of 100 years of Plumpton College and our 50th anniversary of Open Day & Spring Fair.
Organised by Plumpton College, the event will take place across our 800 hectare campus nestled in the South Downs National Park with; department demonstrations, attractions, local food and wine tasting, as well as a craft and trade fair, course and careers advice, children's activities, farm displays and much more.
We typically welcome over ten thousand visitors every year, so we look forward to seeing you there!

Join Countryfile presenter and Cotswold farmer Adam Henson alongside regenerative farmer Joe Graeme as they explore how farming can evolve over the next century. From conservation and innovation to soil health and resilient food systems, this talk looks ahead to the future of British farming.

Continuing the celebrations
The music doesn’t stop at sundown. Enjoy extended music hours until 8pm, with DJs, guest acts and performances from brilliant local artists on the Love Bus.
What time does the event start and finish?
Gates open at 10am on Saturday 9 May and close for last admittance at 4pm. The event finishes at 5pm.
This year we welcome those, already admitted, who wish to stay and celebrate our centenary with us on Principal's Lawn with continued music, performances and food until 8pm.
I'm a Plumpton College student, do I have to pay for a ticket?
Photography and videography will be taken on the day of the event for promotional purposes. Please alert a member of staff if you do not want to be featured in these.
